This page explains what happens to your details when you join the Saphie Living waitlist or email list.

Who looks after your details

Saphie Living is run by Sapphira Abayomi in Luxembourg, who is responsible for your details (the "data controller"). You can reach me any time at hello@saphieliving.com.

What I collect and why

Your first name and email address. I use them to email you about the advent calendar and other news from Saphie Living, such as newsletters, new products and things I'm making.

I only do this because you ticked the box to say yes (your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, and that doesn't affect emails sent before.

Who helps me

• Kit (Kit, Inc.) stores the email list and sends the emails.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from attacks.
• Google Fonts provides the lettering on this page, so your browser connects to Google's servers when the page loads, which shares your IP address with Google.

I never sell or rent your details, and I don't share them with anyone else.

Where your details are stored

Kit and Cloudflare are based in the United States. When your details are stored or processed there, they are protected under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which require the same level of protection as in the EU.

How long I keep them

Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can also just reply and ask.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a small security cookie that's needed to keep the site safe.

Children

The advent calendar is made for children, but this list is for grown-ups. Please only sign up if you are 16 or older. I don't knowingly collect details from children.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, download or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@saphieliving.com. I'll reply within one month.

If you're in the EU and unhappy with how your details are handled, you can complain to the Luxembourg data protection authority, the CNPD, or the authority in your own country.

Changes

If I change how I use your details, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
